We will meet virtually throughout the year to connect, learn together, and collaborate to support our students in their mathematical journey.
Building Thinking Classrooms (BTC) shares 14 practices promoting student thinking, collaboration, perseverance, and risk-taking in mathematics. Facilitated by Math TOSA, Jennifer Vomocil, participants will engage in authentic reflection, collaborative conversation, and time to explore resources related to BTC’s four Toolkits.
This virtual opportunity is intended for educators seeking improvements in mathematics instruction, such as classroom teachers, mentors, TOSAs, and instructional coaches.
The Mid-Valley STEM-CTE Hub will provide a copy of the book as well as a $50 gift card for each session attended for participants from the LBL region.
